On (for) the fifteenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me ...

A stack of cards with lovingly crafted, handwritten messages ...

One small box of Godiva truffles ...

One photo frame with a photo of her ...

One Superman T-shirt ...

One Banana Republic sweater ...

One small bottle Banana Republic Fresh Nectar perfume ...

One C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries' Lemon body cream ...

One EA Games Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers videogame for the XBox ...

One Kenneth Cole watch ...

One Living Language Spanish learning course CD-ROM set ...

...

... And a partridge in a pear tree!

PS: I get it, alright. I need to groom up to her standards. And I so enjoyed my patented and finely-honed slob-of-the-year look.

PPS: The Superman TShirt was the best gift. I actually stood in front of a mirror striking heroic poses, or with my arms out in front of me making whooshing sounds while the theme music played in my head! Whee! :-)

Look at the brighter side, he forgot the Beatles book but remembered the stack of cards and listed them first. Knowing Axe, he must have stopped listing after gift #10. I don't blame him for forgetting one from so many though.

In fact, this post can be used for a nice memory game. Read the list of gifts for 15 seconds and then try to list as many as you can. Axe, you cannot play, you were disqualified for forgetting the Beatles Anthology book.
