Musical Interlude
You know, I really need some music to listen to. I love my MP3 collection but I need fresh blood! My tastes span from classic rock to heavy metal (but not just any metal ... I need melody ... like Maiden, Metallica, Rammstein, etc.) to electronica. Anyone have any suggestions?
On Kartik's recommendation I bought Franz Ferdinand's self-titled debut album, and I must say it's bluddy excellent. Apart from a few tracks, of course. I don't think I've heard any album where I've absolutely loved each and every track equally ... hmm, except for Please Please Me, and A Hard Day's Night!
Two albums I'm looking forward to are Maiden's latest album, Death on the Road, which releases inthe US tomorrow, and Rammstein's Rosenrot, which releases in a month. I can't find any info on this album on Amazon US or UK sites ... I hope iTunes sells the album though.
As I've mentioned earlier, there doesn't seem to be much variance to Maiden's live album tracklist. Sadly, this will remain true with Death on the Road. There are a few new tracks, representing the more popular Dance of Death tracks though, including my favorite, Pascendale.
I'm pretty psyched about the new Rammstein album. A kick-ass video of the first single, Benzin, is already out. So what if I don't understand German, the music is flipping sweet!
