Holy Acoustic Rock, Batman!

Sweet.

According to Metallica's website, The  Bridge School was founded by Neil Young and his wife Pegi, to educate children with severe physical and speech impairments.

Who's have thought a band like Metallica would take part in a concert there. The two songs there are just freaking amazing - "Fade To Black" and an AWESOME bluesy version of "The Four Horsemen". The latter is all the more enjoyable given that the original is a thrash metal classic (one of my favorite tracks from Kill 'Em All)

I hope they release a video soon.

Shameful confession

I can't distinguish between John Lennon & Paul McCartney when I listen to the Beatles. I've tried to listen to the pitch of their voice ... their accents ... but I'm stumped.

Speaking of McCartney, there was a line of dirty hippy squatters outside Virgin Megastore on Sunday afternoon. I asked a nearby policeman what that was all about and he told me that Paul McCartney was due to visit the store the next day.

...

Well ... at least it wasn't a line for the PS3 which was released today.
